Benefits of the 73fifty include:
- PAL or NTSC
- 3 seperate inputs, each having 4 amplified and conditioned outputs
- Elimiates pictire jitter and time base errors.
- Stabilises onscreen images and text
- Restores distored or misshpen vertical and horizontal sync and colour bust signals
- Automatic Gain Control insures a proper 1 V p-p output
- Colour Bar Generator when no signal applied
- Bi-colour front LEDs show channels with valid signal levels.
- Ideal for pipeline or diver/rov applications where upto 3 cameras are being used.
- 1U slim line design
- 90 - 250 vAC input

With the popularity of TFT monitors in the modern ROV or diver control shack, few of these monitors have "looping inputs". This means each monitor has a permanent 75ohm termination. With two non-looping monitors connected together, the line would be double loaded and result in a dim picture on each monitor.
Using multiple text overlays and digital recording equipment will exacerbate this problem by weakening the sync signals - causing scrolling text and "wobbly" recordings.
Using the videoAMP will solve these problems by driving each monitor / overlay or recorder at 100% signal levels. |
