     2. MPEG ComMotion Receiver 4.0 System Requirements

2. Windows 95/Windows98/Windows NT 4.0 sp 3 or Up
   if using native ATM receiving and play back NT 4.0 is a must;
   IE 4.0 or later

1. To enable save to disk of received stream, you should check "Save To Disk" option in 
   Start/Programs/MPEG ComMotion Receiver 4.0/Global Setting.

2. If a message Box or pop-up menu appears behind the video screen of the ComMotion Receiver you 
   should click the Receiver's Stop button.
 
3. To enable playing file transmitted in a loop with VideoPlex XPress, you should open the 
   options dialog box in the View menu, and then select the "Repeat forever" option in
   the "Playback" tab.

4. To view several video channels simultaneously by double-clicking different *.opu files you
   should configure ComMotion Receiver to play each UDP stream in different window. To do this:

     -Right-click on the ComMotion Receiver's main screen and select Options.
     -Select the Player tab.
     -Select "Open a new player for each media file played".
     -Click Apply and OK.

5. ComMotion Receiver was tested with FORE 5.01 ATM/Winsocket Service Providers and Drivers on
   WindowsNT only.

6. If Media Player window was minimized, "Save To Disk" was turn on and got focus, pressing SPACEBAR,
   PERIOD or M for editing File Name in "Save To Disk" window would operate "hot Keys" for Media Player.

7. If you have multiple NICs on  your computer, ComMotion Receiver select the first one 
   found as default. To select another NIC for receiving incoming streams, you should 
   make changes in OptibaseUdpSFilter.ini. This file resides in ComMotion Receiver 
   program directory.
   For editing OptibaseUdpSFilter.ini :
   1. Open OptibaseUdpSFilter.ini ;
   2. move ";" before Local IP AddressIP  key;
   3. put IP Address of NIC that you want to work with; 
   4. save OptibaseUdpSFilter.ini ;

	4. Known Problems
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. If you encounter problems of Media Player window overlay and/or 
   flipping, you should change the following settings of Media 
   Player as follows: 
     When a file/stream is opened in the media Player, 
     Select File Properties.
     In the Advanced tab, select "Video Renderer" and open its 
     properties.
     In the DirectShow tab, uncheck the following:
        YUV Flipping
        RGB Flipping
        YUV overlays
        RGB overlays
   Please note: 
   1. On slow PCs, the removal of Flipping may cause a slight 
      degradation of video; 
   2. Uncheck the Overlays checkboxes might affect Flipping
      for video-in-a-window displays.

2. When receiving Transport stream, connecting to the stream may last more than usual
   (till 1 min.). The status in Media Player status line will be "Opening...". Closing
   Media Player in this state might cause a problem.
